SIG University Announces Open Enrollment for Online Certification Programs

The semester begins on April 15 for certifications in sourcing, supply management and third party risk.

JACKSONVILLE, FL. FEBRUARY 19, 2019 - SIG University, a comprehensive, online certification program focused on strategic sourcing, governance practices and methodologies, and third-party risk management today announces that enrollment is open for classes beginning on April 15.

SIG University was created at the request of SIG members who saw an educational training gap in today's workforce. Since its inception in 2016, SIG University has seen tremendous growth and organizational adoption, with over 850 graduates from over 200 companies representing 17 countries. Upon graduation, SIG University students earn a credential as a Certified Sourcing Professional (CSP), Certified Third Party Risk Management Professional (C3PRMP) or a Certified Supply Management Professional (CSMP).

The CSP course is administered over a 12-week period, the C3PRMP course is an eight-week program and the CSMP is a more condensed program that takes five weeks to complete. Each of the three certifications is valid for five years and is delivered in a modular format with lessons, assessments and quizzes to test mastery of subject matter. In addition, SIG University students have access to one of the largest banks of available sourcing data in the U.S. through the SIG Resource Center, which houses over 8,000 tools, templates, methodologies, processes, whitepapers and archived presentations.

“Today’s sourcing, outsourcing, procurement and risk professionals need to have a clear understanding of industry best practices and the volatile threat landscape,” said Dawn Tiura, SIG CEO and President. “As the digital transformation takes hold and we move into an era of automation, machine learning and artificial intelligence, it is more important than ever to have a solid understanding of strategic sourcing methodologies, governance and risk frameworks. SIG University’s certification programs equip students with the hard and soft skills of sourcing to meet their organization’s evolving challenges.”

SIG University is currently enrolling students for classes that begin on April 15. Closed cohorts are available outside this date for companies enrolling 25 or more students simultaneously. Discounts are available for students and/or companies who enroll before March 15. To learn more, visit our website.
